adidas launches MLS jerseys made from Parley Ocean Plastic Earth Day is serious thing for MLS

The last big ecological awareness campaign signed by adidas is called 'for the oceans' and it was created in collaboration with the environmental association Parley: for the Earth Day from April 20th to 22, all 23 MLS teams sponsored by adidas will wear unreleased jerseys made by recycled plastic, most found on the beaches or in the coastal communities.

This news is coupled with the announcement, released no later than a month through an interview of adidas CEO Kasper Rorsted at CNBC, to have sold a million shoe made from recycled ocean plastic in less than a year. Always in synergy with Parley for the Oceans, adidas launched three versions of UltraBOOST produced with rubbish recovered near the Maldives, using approximately 11 bottles for every single shoe and significantly reducing waste.
