The third edition of the Burton Mountain Mash Five days on the boards on the slopes of Madonna di Campiglio
Also this year, from January 29 to February 2, in Madonna di Campiglio the snowboarding event took place between testride, snowboard camp reserved for women and many other activities dedicated to fans of this snowsport.
The Dolomites and the Adamello-Brenta Natural Park once again provided the stage for the most intense five-day snowboarding of the year where 300 people not only tried Burton boards, bindings and boots for the current season, but, for the first time in Italy, they also had the opportunity to test the material of the 2020/21 season, including the revolutionary Step-On, Burton's very fast integrated boot-boot system.
The absolute novelty came at the end of this 5 days with the introduction of the contest that most represented the spirit of the event: the "Anon Banked Slalom'' in memory of Jake Burton Carpenter, founder of the brand, to whom they have 150 people aged between 6 and 50 attended, as well as the new Parasnowboarding Burton Europe Team. This was precisely the figure that best describes the true nature of this contest: the inclusion of everyone who wants to have fun on the table.
Particularly touching was the conclusion of the Burton Mountain Mash 2020, after the awards ceremony of the Anon Banked Slalom won, among other things, by Pietro Colturi: no minute of silence, but a long applause dedicated to Jake by all the participants reunited by the passion for that magical object invented by him in 1977.
