The MLS jerseys for Black History Month Black Players for Change and Participation Trophy Studio launch "The Blackout Collection"
The month of February in the United States and Canada is Black History Month, a period in which personalities who have made the history of Black Culture are honored. Sport is one of the worlds most involved in these events and football is one of the most important showcases. For this reason Black Players for Change (BPC) and Participation Trophy Studio have created a special collection: "The Blackout Collection" is made up of eight customized and "blacked out" limited edition jerseys inspired by the collective and individual experiences of players during 2020. 8 MLS and USL players took part in the project: Mark Anthony Kaye (Los Angeles Football Club), Justin Morrow (Toronto FC), Jeremy Ebobisse (Portland Timbers FC), Miles Robinson (Atlanta United), Earl Edwards Jr (New England Revolution ), Sean Johnson (NYCFC), Sebastien Ibeagha (NYCFC) and Quincy Amarikwa (Las Vegas Lights FC).
The kits will be available via raffle, which can be entered by purchasing a $ 1 ticket on the blackplayersforchange.org website - with 100% of the proceeds going to FC Harlem. The raffle is open until Friday 5 March.
